Kim Kardashian’s skin looks better than ever these days. Despite jet-setting off to Paris for Fashion Week appearances just last week (serving up viral outfits and a bit of modeling in the process), promoting her family’s Hulu show’s second season, and juggling countless other Kris Jenner-approved ventures we’ve yet to hear about alongside her four children, she manages to avoid the “jet lag” look altogether. You know that after-plane feeling of dryness, irritation, and dullness? Not Kardashian. Through it all—flights, kids, and work—her signature glow and statue-esque sculpt remain enviably intact.
Of course, the Balenciaga muse has access to the best facialists, derms, and skin experts on the planet—and the most cutting-edge anti-aging technology available—so it’s not like a permanent, celebrity-level glow is achievable for the rest of us. Copying Kardashian’s lengthy (and no doubt, prohibitively expensive) beauty routine is little more than a pipe dream. However, Kardashian is hoping to bridge that gap just a bit with her skincare line, Skkn by Kim.
Take, for instance, her latest launch: the Resurfacing Mask ($65). Debuting today alongside a luxurious brush for application (more on that later), the exfoliating mask treatment was inspired by one of her favorite facials. After she would “always complain” about the skin texture on her forehead at her facial appointments, Kardashian says her team finally found an exfoliant that was the perfect combination of gentle and effective.
"The one real reason I wanted to make a pumpkin enzyme mask is that my facialist and esthetician used to always use it on me to help resurface my skin," Kardashian shares exclusively with Byrdie. "I love to find the products that I can really bring in from the knowledge and secrets and tricks that I've learned from my professional team and then figure out how to bring that to the consumer."

The goal is simple: Brighter, fresher skin 10 minutes after using the mask. "You just feel like your skin is a bit brighter, more glowing," says The Kardashians star about her own experience with the product. "It literally glides on your skin and feels really amazing—kind of like a jelly."
Thanks to fermented pumpkin enzyme, glycolic acid, and lactic acid, the mask works to remove dead skin cells, while glycerin, a humectant, locks in moisture for that instant glow. “It really helps over time with the appearance of fine lines and reduces the look of the pores on your skin,” she explains. “That was really important to me, especially with the texture issues that I was having on my forehead.”
Beyond performance, the mask has the sort of juicy texture and luxurious details to give you that spa-like experience at home. Notably, the product’s recommended Treatment Brush ($30), made from lightweight, vegan fibers, fans out in a flexible shape ideal to provide the to-the-edges precise application Kardashian craves. Plus, it makes you feel fancy.
"I'm obsessed with the brush," says the Skims founder. "It's really flexible and moves with you and glides on to like every curve in your face." In short, it's the ideal, no-mess way to apply a mask, especially around your eyes and lips. Kardashian says that the brush is multi-use, applying her other non-Skkn by Kim products with it, too.
The best part of any 10-minute skincare mask? Multitasking while the ingredients do their thing on your face. While some of us might turn to a book, music, or, more honestly, our phones for a bit of scrolling, Kardashian likes to organize: "I'm definitely an organizer. So I will put it on and then try to put my phone down and try to organize my bikini drawers, try to organize my Skims closet. I'll take content… so we're videoing what's in my closet. I take that as my time to just get a little stuff done in my closet."
As with all things Keeping Up, Kardashian cites her family as her end-all-be-all source of insight for her skincare ideas. "I feel like if I'm having a [skin] problem, my sister is, and my friends are, other people are having these problems too."
The Sknn by Kim Resurfacing Mask and Treatment Brush are available to purchase at skknbykim.com starting October 4.
